Hydrolyzed collagen, also known as collagen peptides, is a form of collagen that has been broken down into smaller, more easily dissolvable and absorbable particles. This process, known as hydrolysis, involves breaking the large collagen molecules into smaller peptides through the use of water, enzymes, or acid. Due to its smaller particle skin, hydrolyzed collagen is more easily absorbed by the skin compared to regular collagen.
