Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance in the human body primarily found in the skin, connective tissues and eyes. It retains water, provides lubrication and moisture to the skin. Hyaluronic acid plays a crucial role in maintaining the elasticity and hydration in the skin, making it smoother and plumper. By increasing moisture content in the skin, it also helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
