FAQs
FAQs
What is the source of the collagen?
Our collagen is animal sourced, typically from bovine. Bovine collagen is known to boost the production of types I and III collagen. Since these types form the majority of your skin’s collagen, bovine collagen is thought to be particularly effective in diminishing wrinkles, enhancing skin elasticity, and improving skin hydration.
Can I put Eye Gelee on my eyelids?
It is not recommended. The skin on the eyelids is very thin and the eye can become irritated when creams are used right on the lid, as they’re more likely to seep into the eye itself. Eye products should be used along the area known as the orbital bone, the area below the eye that extends in a semi circle up to the brow bone. You can also apply eye products on the brow bone.
What is the best way to apply an eye product?
Before applying any eye product, make sure to wash you hands thoroughly so you don’t spread bacteria or dirt. Place a pea sized drop on your ring finger and gently pat the skin under the eye area. Start at the inner corner of the eye and work in a semi circle motion to the outer most area of the eye. Using a second pea sized drop, pat gently along the brow bone. Avoid applying it on the upper eyelid since eye products can creep into the lash line and possibly get into the eye.
