When Stephen Strassler started Reviva Labs in 1973, the world of skin care was very different than it is today. American skin care companies weren’t talking about (or offering) exfoliation, or ingredients like elastin – and there was almost no discussion of “cruelty-free” skin care. But Mr. Strassler was determined that Reviva Labs was going to be different. Reviva’s products would not be tested on animals; they would be produced with safe, effective, natural ingredients; and they would always be on the cutting edge of the skin care industry. Reviva has stayed true to Stephen Strassler’s vision; starting out as a popular brand in health food stores and professional skin care salons, Reviva has grown into an international brand, while remaining natural, effective, and cruelty-free. Because of this, Reviva boasts customers that span generations of the same family. Mothers who love Reviva’s products have passed on their skin care secrets to their daughters, who have also fallen in love with the effectiveness of our skin care – and with the Reviva Labs philosophy.
Made in America – with family always in mind
Reviva is proud of the fact that mothers and their daughters and granddaughters have come to appreciate our skin care, as Reviva has a strong focus on family. At our headquarters in Haddonfield, NJ, mothers and daughters, nieces, nephews, etc. work alongside one another. They are a dedicated group who cares about Reviva’s heritage and its future. That heritage and future includes placing a priority on producing and sourcing our products in the United States. We support our workers and our nation. Sadly, Stephen Strassler passed away in October 2016. But Stephen’s wife, Judith and a dedicated team at Reviva Labs – many of whom have worked at Reviva for decades – continue to honor his commitment to great natural skin care. The second generation of Reviva looks promising, as the company has rebranded, updated its packaging, and is introducing new products to the popular Reviva line-up.
