Sodium Dextran Sulfate is a compound made up of sodium and a sulfuric acid ester of Dextran. When used in skincare products, derivatives of Dextran, like Dextran sulfate, can help the skin retain moisture, leading to better skin hydration. Moreover, Dextran can have a calming effect on dry and problematic skin, providing soothing properties.
