Hydrogenated castor oil/sebacic acid copolymer is a copolymer created by combining hydrogenated castor oil with sebacic acid. Capryloyl glycerin/sebacic acid copolymer is an ingredient that acts as a polymer and film-forming agent, offering an alternative to silicones in cosmetic formulas. It can be derived naturally from coconut and castor oil or produced synthetically. This ingredient is often used in conjunction with diheptyl succinate, a texture enhancer that serves as an alternative to silicones in cosmetics.
