A transparent liquid known as a masking agent is utilized in small quantities to conceal the unpleasant natural fragrance of other cosmetic components. This liquid has a pleasant aroma resembling that of a rose and is present in various essential oils such as geranium, neroli, and rose. Additionally, it has some antimicrobial properties and can enhance the efficacy of traditional preservatives.
