This is an old memo, by Stephen Strassler, recently discovered that outlines his thoughts and philosophy on Reviva Labs.

As you know, Reviva Labs is 43 years old and is one of the skin-care pioneers in Health Food Stores. But what you may not know is that Reviva’s origins are actually in professional skin-care salons. In our beginnings, skin-salon growth was very slow. Thus because of our natural ingredients, we added focus on Health Food Stores.

But back then, and now, Reviva’s products were formulated for Aestheticians in skin salons. What does this mean?

PERFORMANCE.

Aestheticians are the toughest critics of skin-product performance. The product must do what it is intended to do, or they are out of business.

Dermatologist Dr. Jeanette Jacknin, author of “Smart Medicine for your Skin”, said it this way. “I wasn’t surprised to learn that even though Reviva Labs products are sold in Health Food Stores, they are actually formulated for professionals. It’s the potency and special blending that, no doubt, is the reason Reviva Labs products have proven so effective.”

PERFORMANCE EFFECTIVENESS, EXPERIENCE, SAFETY.

These have been the hallmarks of Reviva Labs long history.

THE BASICS AND BEYOND

There are 3 basic steps in one’s skin-care program:

  1. Cleansing/Exfoliation
  2. Daytime Protection and Moisturizing
  3. Nighttime correction or treatment Naturally, Reviva Labs offers PERFORMANCE for the Basics. In an attached page, we’ll outline our items for a Basic Program, for your reference.

But the modern consumer recognizes they need more than the basics for their individual needs and to enhance their appearance.

When it comes to individual needs or skin problems, please stress to retailers that no competitive brand equals Reviva Labs depth of performance-proven products.

Store Managers should know that for the various needs in fighting skin aging or skin problems, he or she can lead the customer to review the Reviva Line. They’ll see specialties they won’t find in other lines.

For example, in addition to the popular targeted Serum and Creams for Hydration, Firming, Antioxidant Protection, etc. Reviva offers specialties for Redness, Discoloration, Dark Circles, Nasolabial Folds, Versatile Glycolics, Anti-Pollution, and so much more.

To look at it another way, the Reviva Labs line offers the Retailer the potential for a greater dollar sale per customer than any other brand. In summary, going beyond competition for one’s individual needs to fight skin aging and targeting special skin problems, is what makes Reviva Labs different.
