The panax ginseng root is an element taken from the dried roots of the ginseng plant belonging to the araliaceae family. It has been found that using this root topically can help in increasing skin hydration, making the texture smoother, lightening the pigmentation, and also reduce the appearance of wrinkles by working on the skin to make it firmer.
